Single and double reduction planetary gear drives to be used with electric, hydraulic, surroundings motors or mechanical power input from high speed, low torque sources to deliver decreased speeds at increased torques. The input part has standard SAE pads for electric motor mounting. Available in the three output configurations proven below. Many units can be furnished with an integral parking brake.
One reduction drives are limited to 3500 RPM input; double reduction drives to 5000 RPM. Units with essential parking input quickness is limited to 2500 RPM.The same torque comes in either direction of rotation. Torque ratings are intermittent. For continuous operation reduce torque rankings to about 1/3 to 1/2 the values shown. Units provide 95% power transmission efficiency.
Wheel Drive
Input side has standard SAE pads and splined insight. Output aspect has hub for installation vehicle wheel. Free wheel can be done by using the spring disconnect to Plastic Gear Rack disengage the drive shaft. The disengage feature is usually standard on all wheel drives.
Shaft Output
Input side regular SAE pads with splined insight. Output side options include: Keyed circular, hexed, hollow, tapered or splined shaft.
Spindle Drive
Input side is standard SAE pads with splined input. Output side has a flanged spindle for coupling to the load.
Swing Drives
Ever-Power model 6 is offered with or without integral parking brakes. The “SW” Power Wheel has extra-huge tapered roller bearings, a ductile iron hub and warmth treated ring equipment to minimize backlash growth caused by wear. The external bearing nut provides the ultimate in shaft retention and shaft strength. Output could be a spindle shaft or numerous sizes of integral pinion gears.
