In most cases, the geartrain of the input stage is constructed of plastic to keep sound levels only possible at higher quickness. All steel insight gears as well 
as a modified lubrication are for sale to applications requiring high torque, vacuum, or higher temperature compatability.
For applications requiring moderate to high torque you can expect planetary gearheads made of powerful plastics. They are ideal solutions for applications where low weight and high torque density enjoy a decisive function. The gearhead is mounted to the Leaf Chain engine with a threaded flange to ensure a solid fit.
